Claude and saved.md
saved.md lets Claude move from writing and analysis into publishing, so the final result becomes a link people can read, revisit, and share.
What it does
Claude is strong for long context, careful writing, structured analysis, and drafting decisions or documents. Many Claude conversations end with material that is ready to send, but still needs a clean home outside the chat.
How saved.md fits
With saved.md connected, Claude can publish long-form answers as Markdown pages, HTML pages, JSX pages, templates, and updated versions of existing saved.md links. It turns Claude output into a small website or document page with much less copy-paste.
Workflows
These are the patterns where saved.md turns AI output into something easier to share than a chat transcript.
Ask Claude to turn strategy, research, or planning context into a readable saved.md page.
Use saved.md for Claude-generated reports, proposal pages, FAQs, and landing page drafts.
Ask Claude to adapt a saved.md template source while preserving the original design and structure.
Setup
Connect Claude to saved.md with the MCP URL https://mcp.saved.md/api/mcp. Once authorization is complete, ask Claude to publish or update a saved.md page.
Add saved.md as a custom connector from Claude settings.
Sign in to saved.md, approve access, and let Claude store the connector authorization.
Start a new Claude chat and ask it to publish a short saved.md page.
Try it
After connecting saved.md, use a prompt like this to verify the tool can publish a real page.
Use saved.md to publish a clear markdown page titled "Claude connector validation".
Make it a short decision memo for a small team evaluating saved.md. Include:
- what the connector is now able to do
- two concrete workflows it helps with
- one limitation or follow-up to remember
- a final "Connection result" line that confirms the publish worked
Keep it specific, useful, and under 300 words. Avoid filler, placeholder claims, and marketing language. Return only the saved.md URL plus one sentence summarizing the page.
